The Steps card, located in the Wellness dashboard, provides a detailed breakdown of your daily walking and stepping activity. It helps you understand not just the number of steps you've taken, but also the context of that activity throughout the day.
At the top of the card, you'll see your total step count for the selected day displayed prominently. Just below this number, a note indicates whether your current count is Above Daily Average or below it, giving you a quick comparison of your performance.

Below your total step count, the card displays four key metrics that provide more detail about your walking activity for the day:

The Progress section features a graph to visualize your activity. The solid yellow line shows your cumulative steps throughout the day, while the fainter grey line represents your daily average, allowing for easy comparison. The bar chart below the line graph shows the volume of steps taken during specific times of the day.

On this screen, you can also access a Short-term Overview to analyze trends over the past few weeks and an About Walking section with educational articles. Additionally, you can tap the icon in the top-right corner to change how your daily progress is compared.
