How to Compare Daily Steps Against Your Average or a Typical Day

This guide explains how to change the comparison metric for your daily step count. By switching between your daily average and a typical day for that day of the week, you can gain a more detailed context for your activity levels. You will need to be on the Steps detail screen to begin.

  1. From the Wellness tab, tap the Steps card to view your detailed daily activity.
  2. Tap the comparison icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. In the Compare With menu that appears, select either Typical Day in a Week or Daily Average to change the comparison line on your progress graph.
