How to Interact with Your Live Workout Screen on Apple Watch

Once your workout is underway, the live screen on your Apple Watch becomes an interactive dashboard for your activity. This guide shows you how to view your data, customize metrics, control media, and manage your workout session directly from your wrist.

  1. The main workout screen displays your heart rate zones at the top, current heart rate in the center, and two customizable metrics at the bottom.

  2. To change a displayed metric, long-press on either the left or right metric field. Scroll through the list of available options and tap the one you want to see.
