How to Log Perceived Exertion for a Workout

Logging how a workout felt—your Rate of Perceived Exertion (RPE)—helps the app personalize your Activity Path and provide more accurate recommendations. This guide shows you how to add an RPE rating to a completed workout. You will need at least one previously logged activity.

  1. From the main screen, scroll down to the Past Activities section and tap the workout you want to rate.
  2. In the workout summary, scroll to the bottom and tap the plus icon next to Perceived Exertion.
  3. On the Perceived Exertion screen, drag the slider to match how the workout felt. The app will display a description (e.g., Light, Moderate, Hard) for each level.
  4. Tap Save to add the rating to your workout summary.
