On this International Day of Action for Women's Health, May 28th, Gentler Streak, the recipient of the App Store Apple Watch App of the Year for 2022, proudly announces an update specifically designed for women. With the addition of the menstrual cycle as a health metric, Gentler Streak's guidance now aligns even more closely with a woman's readiness throughout her cycle.

New Health Metric: Menstrual Cycle
Women in the reproductive phase can find the Menstrual Cycle metric on their Wellbeing tab. They will be taken through a short onboarding, and once done, the app serves the following:

As each body is different and carries the baby their own way, we do not cover guidance designed for pregnancy. Tips & Tricks: Slick Visual Demonstration on How to Get the Most Out of the App
In the Profile section, developers have added insider tips and tricks, which visually demonstrate some of the less and more hidden features of the app; Activity Path bundle of features, customizing Wellbeing tab, Apple Watch tracker settings, etc.
They have also assembled a list of FAQs to offer a fast solution to the questions most likely to occur - also available on Gentler Streak Profile.
Scientific Study Proclaims Gentler Streak as the best iOS App for Evidence-Based Exercise Intensity Guidance
Gentler Streak was a part of an independent scientific research study conducted by the Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion, College of Science, California State Polytechnic University Pomona. The study evaluated the legitimacy of exercise intensity tracking in 23 free iOS fitness apps on the App Store. With an impressive total score of 4.75, Gentler Streak became the highest-ranking app, surpassing names like Google Fit and Polar.
